Terry Lang— Health Coach, BSN & Certified Flower Essence Specialist

Terry became interested in alternative ways to improve health early in her career as a nurse.  After graduating from Duquesne University with a BSN, she studied the Expressive Arts in Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Besides working as a nurse, she taught dance and aerobic exercise classes.  She found ways to alleviate stress through breath work and movement.

She has been a part of the Integrative Medicine Team at Allegheny Health Network where she assisted patients in relaxation techniques while they were undergoing stressful procedures. Terry also has spoken at workshops for employees to learn alternative ways towards optimal health. She attended classes through Harvard University in relaxation techniques and stress management.

She also enjoys helping others achieve positive energy through Reiki.

In 2010, Terry became interested and learned first hand that food can have a positive effect on one's health. Her dog, Buddy was diagnosed with Lymphoma and the veterinarian recommended Buddy to be euthanized.  She had heard of a holistic veterinarian and took Buddy to see him. With diet changes, vitamins and herbs, Buddy lived a happy life for another year.

Terry then was inspired to educate people on improving their health by combining individual lifestyle factors and primary food to create optimal health. In 2015, she completed a year certification course in health coaching at the Institute for Integrated Nutrition.

Terry is also a certified Flower Essence Specialist. She studied Flower Essences at Trinity School for Natural Health in May 2022.

Although Terry enjoys many areas of health coaching, her areas of interest are:   Stress Reduction, Aging, Immune Health, Gut Health, Women's Health and Bone Health.

Her mission is to educate her clients to learn and strive to take a positive stand in preventing illness and improving their health.
